Sahil Akhtar is working on a project entitled "Exploring Symmetry Principles in NV Centers: A Group Theoretical Approach to Spin Hamiltonian."

In this project, he is trying to understand the NV centers through the use of group theory and simple density functional theory. Understanding these NVs will help him understand other defects as well.
